History & Biography
Abomination is another one of several of Paul Speckman's bands on Nuclear Blast. Abomination was originally a band with which Speckman's band Funeral Bitch shared a gig. Being impressed, Speckman and Nickeas formed a new Abomination and released the self-titled demo with Mike Schaffer of Impulse Manslaughter on guitars. Abomination played shows with Indestroy, Atrophy, Sacred Reich and Killjoy, among others, and a US tour with Burnt Offering. Following a new demo the thrash metal band received several offers from the likes of Roadrunner, Peaceville and Mean machine but finally ended up on Nuclear Blast where Speckman proclaimed, " I'll never give up until Abomination is known to the whole world. I'm convinced that we're gonna make it to the top!!" He should have become a stock market analyst.

In mid-2011 Abomination would reform for a 17-show European tour slated for November of 2011. Speckmann had previously cited the death of guitarist Dean Chioles as the reason Abomination would never reform. This followed the dissolution of Master following the departure of all the members thus leaving Speckmann without a group. Simultaneously, the Deathstrike album was being reissued. Following the re-release of its early Abomination and Tragedy Strikes albums by Nuclear Blast Abomination Was touring Europe in November of 2011 with guitarist Demetrio Scopelliti and drummer Raphael Saini.
