History & Biography The group was founded by Jan Müller in Baden-Württemberg in southern West Germany in 1985 and lasted thirteen years. The band's early demo was called Vampire. A demo entitled Shattered By A Terrible Prediction was available from 1988. Singer Joachim Hittinger left. The official reason was health problems. Gates To Eden was a 1990 demo. The Liaison, which was released by a Japanese record company, was also released as Tomorrow's World by Limb years later albeit with a different running order of tracks. The band opened for the likes of UDO, Kruiz and Sinner and had replaced Hittinger as mentioned in 1990. Mindner was replaced by Siggi Maier.
Sound And Action - Rare German Metal Vol. 3 through Golden Core featured music by Abraxas, Stormwind, Valhalla, Shit For Brains and others in 2023.
'Abraxas' is a word of Greek origin denoted to have a charm and possessed by magical qualities. The Hittingers are brothers. The name was also ascribed to a mythical god. Oliver Mindner died in 2022.
