History & Biography
Abyssic is a continuation of sorts for an underground band called Abyssic Dreams that was founded in 1997 and did not achieve much. Abyssic was founded in 2012. Menoch was busy in a dozen side-projects in the interim. The new monicker also brought along keyboard player André Aaslie who was also tapping on the keys for a dozen projects. Drummer Asgeir Mickelson left in 2017.

Norway-based Abyssic had a full-length called Brought Forth In Iniquity through Osmose Productions in late 2022. The band had a release party in Oslo. keyboardist André Aaslie departed in 2023. He was replaced by Borg. The group was booked for Inferno Metal Festival 2025. Abyssic announced it was working on a full-length called Trollsyn in 2026.

The band members have shared credits in acts like Seven Sins and Susperia. Bassist Bordvik provides female vocals in K&F other bands as well.
