History & Biography

With members from Taiwan, Norway, and the USA Abyssus was a new band with a single called Nihil through Mourning Light Records in 2023. This was followed by an upload called Ripper Apart. The band was working on a full-length. The album’s main character was ‘Abyssius.’ The name was inspired by Odysseus. A self-titled demo kicked off 2024. Abyssius announce a full-length demo, called Vermin, for March 20, 2026. It was described as, "A descent into the heavy atmospheres of nihilism."
