History & Biography Formed in 1992, Aeba was a so-called black metal band from Germany with keyboards. The name change occurred in 1994. Aeba was an acronym for the four demons of hell: Astaroth, Eurynome, Bael and Amducias. The band's
first album was actually its second demo. In mid-2001, the band found itself in conflict with its label claiming the label was not paying for the costs of a recorded album (Rebellion), that the album was kept hostage in the
studio and began an email campaign against Last Episode. The band's drummer had already left the fold and the gang reverted to the old stand-by: the drum machine. Infernal Disaster joined the band as drummer late in 2001
and Stephanie left the fold in the spring of 2002.
The band switched to Twilight for Shemhamforash - Des Hasses Antlitz, which was the equivalent of not having a record company. Infernal Desaster was on drums and Hellisher played the keys. Hellisher was gone by the next album. Nemesis, Decay Of God's Grandeur was a 2012 demo that was recorded between 2010 and 2011. This lead to the band officially disbanding. As always, the group reformed for 20th anniversary gigs in Germany in 2016 (the band sucked at math).
