History & Biography
The melo-death band Aetherian was founded in autumn of 2013 and uploaded a demo called Tales Of Our Times in 2015. As always, a recycler (here called Goressimo Records) reissued the demo. Lifeforce Records signed the band and released a debut album, The Untamed Wilderness, in late 2017. The band issued several video clips to support the record and was part of the Greek tour This is Hell in both 2017 and 2019. The song The Rain had been a video for the group a year before the debut album. The follow-up album was released in mid-2023. Amongruins and Aetherian announced a local gig for late 2023. The band was also at the Summer Breeze Festival in 2024. Nikos Parotidis drummed until 2023. Kostas Mexis departed in 2025. The band a duo now of its founders, drummer Jim Makrinakis (Birth Of Depravity) was a live drummer for the act. Greece-based melodic death metal band Aetherian had a nine-date tour of Europe booked for November of 2026.
