History & Biography
There have been many Agonys since, and more are being founded every day, but here is the better-known original one. The band was called Agoni initially and had a demo simply called Agoni. Formed in 1984 as Agoni and changing names in 1986, the crossover thrash metal band from Stockholm released the demos The Future Is ours in 1986 (optimistic!) and Execution Of Mankind in the same year. The band signed to MFN and released one album. Like most such albums, the LP saw a US release through Combat. The act split up in 1989.
