History & Biography
The studio project was founded in 2012 and was a duo until Steve Black's death in 2015. That was the year Bindrune Recordings had reissued the band's 2014 demo. The act was on hiatus. Keys' man Blenkarn is one of those journeymen who is in a dozen projects simultaneously so was busy regardless.

Eleven years after its last release, Ahamkara was back with a new record through Bindrune Recordings called The Harrow Of The Lost. It was to see release on the 25th of April, 2025. One was not enough, so Blenkarn had picked up another keyboardist Alexandra Blenkarn-Durning (also in Nemorous) and Austin Lunn in 2024. Lunn too was in a bunch of projects.

Ahamkara is the equivalent to the 'I' in Hindu philosophy.
