History & Biography
The Helsinki-based band was active between 1986 and 1992. Airdash supported Suicidal Tendencies and Anthrax in Finland and got a little offbeat before disappearing. Markku Niiranen had abandoned the act to Join Stone in 1990. The band claimed influences from Voivod and speed metal bands. Drummer Juha, who was fronting the reformed Gloomy Grim until 2021, died of a brain tumor in 2022.
