History & Biography
The founders were guitarist Pitman and drummer Sampson. Bassist Tony Hatton and, Doug’s brother, singer Sam "Tomcat" Sampson were along for the ride. The band flew around between 1987 and 2001 without output. They reappeared in 2008 with two new members one of which was vocalist Dilian Arnodov. Judgment Day featured multiple singers. The Black Box Recordings: Volume 1 and 2 were 2017 and 2018 EPs. Airforce, featuring Doug Sampson, was conducting a mini-tour of USA in April 2019. ROAR! Rock Of Angels signed the band to a multi-album deal in 2021. A live album was expected and a new studio album was to follow. Portuguese man Flavio Lino was on vocals.

The group was announced as the openers for the Girlschool, Raven and Alcatrazz tour of the winter of 2024. Airforce returned with a new album called Acts Of Madness. It was out through ROAR in February. The album was recorded in 2020 initially, but delayed due to the pandemic and the recordings were lost before much of the material was recovered from demos. The group was booked for the Harder Than Rock Festival 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia in March.
