History & Biography
The band was formed in 2006, but a single called Slay The Whore did not come out until 2008. The Outcast Litanies demo appeared in 2011. It also featured Slay The Whore. 2012 offered another demo, Pandemic Dominion. It also featured Slay The Whore. The group and Marchosias issued a 2015 split through Loud Rage. Romania’s Akral Necrosis was recording an album called Underlight in the summer of 2016, which would be issued through Loud Rage Music that October. The band was recording a new album in late 2019. Loud Rage Music was issuing Akral Necrosis’ Hostilities, which featured new drummer Philip Philipov. However, by the time the album was issued the title had changed to The Greater Absence. The album was unveiled with a show at the Quantic Club in Bucharest. Saddayah guitarist Gabriel Marincu was in the band, but left in 2022. Guitarist Damian rejoined in 2023. Live In Hidden was recorded in 2023. Drummer Philip Philipov left in 2025.

‘Acral’ in English refers to the extremities of the body such as fingers and toes. ‘Necrosis’ refers to the premature death of cells.
