History & Biography Before the Dutch band Altar, the Swedish death metal band released a split CD with Cartilage in 1993 through Drowned Production. The band featured drummer Perra Karlsson (ex-Wortox and later In Aeternum) and guitarist Mattias Olsson (also ex-Wortox) in 1990, after existing as Wortox for two years, and had a 1991 demo called No Flesh Shall Be Spared. Johan Bülow of Fallen Angel joined on guitar in 1994.
Dark Domains was a compilation by Sweden’s Altar, which was out through Konqueror Records in early 2012. It was dedicated to Mieszko Talarczyk (Nasum and ex-Altar). He was in the band for 1994 and 1995, which was when the group placed itself on the altar of disbandment.
