History & Biography
A Lausanne, Switzerland-based techno-death metal band since 2009, the band released a three-track self-titled demo in 2010. The founders had been singer Matthieu Favre, guitarist Lisa and drummer Florent. Bassists come and go over the years.

A further demo appeared in 2012. This one was named Senseless. Further demos were 2015's Reflecting The Inside and Demo 2017. The 2018 demo was named Orogeny, which was the word for a collision of land masses resulting in the emergence of mountains. The members being Swiss, the name made sense. Anachronism embarked on a European tour with Cenotaph (Turkey) and Gorgasm. The band uploaded a couple of songs in the subsequent years.

The Meanders album kicked off 2023. The bass was contributed by the act's sound engineer Alex Sedin. The act's bassist (and sometime singer) Julien Waroux had left, but would return shortly thereafter. Drummer Duployer is a stool-for-hire and even joined Cenotaph. Replicant and Anachronism announced a European tour for 2024. Switzerland-based techno-death metal band Anachronism and USA-based Sunless were touring Europe in 2025. The band opened for Sunless to end the year. 2026 was to kick off with a gig alongside Brevine and Orgo.
