History & Biography
Another band without much fortune, formed as the successor to Vendetta, which did not want to be confused with the German metal band, in 1988 the Belgians followed up their Season Of The Witch demo with an LP for England's CFMT which took the band's 'Just Married' album recordings and... went bankrupt.

The band released some of the songs anew on the Just Married EP when disaster struck again and the band signed with Black Mark. Further disaster struck when in an accident, which also involved Stefaan Vanyzer, founding member Libeert was killed.

Werner Vanlaere joined the band after the aforementioned EP. Following all the line-up changes the sole original member was drummer Diego Denorme. The band had played with the likes of Gorefest and Napalm Death and released the last album independently. Let The Mayhem Begin was a 1999 demo. In fact, it was the end as Anesthesy disbanded in 2001. There was an announcement of a couple of concerts briefly, including Metal Assault with Caducity, in 2004. Several members constituted Artrach.
