History Another band without much fortune, formed in 1988 the Belgians followed
up their Season Of The Witch demo with an LP for England's CFMT which
took the band's recordings and... went bankrupt.
The band released some of the songs anew on the Just Married EP when
disaster struck again and the band signed with Black Mark. Further
disaster struck when in an accident, which also involved Stefaan
Vanyzer, founding member Libeert was killed.
Werner Vanlaere joined the band after the aforementioned EP. Following
all the lineup changes the sole original member was drummer Diego
Denorme. The band had played with the likes of Gorefest and Napalm
Death
and released the last album independently. Anesthesy disbanded in 2001.
