History & Biography Canadian black metallers (although one bio refers to the band as "brutal witching metal") Anhkrehg have always strived for a mystical image and moved to Montreal circa 1994. The band at one point featured, and was managed, by Michel Monette of Warfare Records mail order who was managing several other bands as well. Formed in 1992, The Oath Of The Sorcerer King demo featured seven songs and was released in 1994. The Sacrificial Goat demo came out in 1995 and the band was on its way already to being an outcast in the Montreal scene.
Khayr was later jailed 15 months which sent the band into hiatus. The band later recorded an album called Against You All... (the three dots standing for 'Motherfucker') and began searching for a label to release the product. Not finding a better offer, the band signed to Galy Records in 2004 which released the album that summer. Fin.
Anhkrehg was sometimes accused of racism.
