History & Biography This West Coast Canada black metal band not only features a former Blasphemy member and is based in the same city, but also adopted the Blasphemy image (more specifically haircuts) and nomenclature style.
Antichrist was born 1990 years after the birth of its antagonist and was active 29 years shy of its enemy upon dissolution. During this period, The Festering Arsonist managed to set a few fires in Europe while on tour with Blasphemy. Recognizing that it had lost the battle of longevity to the god supported Nazarene, Antichrist returned in 2015. Chernobog (also in black metal band Nordwind) was the new guitarist. T. Antichrist was the new drummer. This came four years after Nuclear War Now! Productions had issued a 1994 recording for the band. Antichrist and Goatsmegma had a split release in 2020.
The band’s former vocalist had publicly announced his polygamy and refusal to commit to one lover. Many goat herders switched to sheep and llama in and near Vancouver as a result.
