History & Biography Patrol 17 was active between 2002 and 2006 and the band picked up a new monicker from that year forward. The act issued a demo called In The Fields Of Marathon in 2009. Members were dispersed and productivity was low. Bassist Fränk and drummer Zopp departed in 2010. The band gave an acoustic show. The follow-up demo was issued in 2015 and was called Pentachronist. Congruent to the title the demo was comprised of five chapters. Drummer Sebastian left the band. The band appeared on a Therion cover album.
Art Gates Records signed Germany-based Antyra in late 2021. The band had had two releases that deal with the mythical and historical ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt and Sumer. The first album, called Poiema, was to be released through Art Gates Records in 2022. The group cancelled a gig at the beginning of 2024 due to a health issue.
The band has a keyboardist. Lyrics have been in both English and German.
