History & Biography This Italy-based combo hails from Milan in the north and mixes metal with ambient sounds. The act came together in 2013 and had issued a demo, called A Journey into The Woeful Forests, by 2014. Avantgarde picked up the follow-up, The Shrine Of Primal Fire, and re-issued it in late 2017. It was recorded at R’s home studio. The follow-up appeared five years later and, according to the band, “Death Panacea is an album about defeat and hopelessness, about the inherent futility of human strife and all our laughable attempts at masking this unescapable nature. We wanted to praise failing and giving up.” The duo was writing music in 2023.
