History & Biography
Dutch death metal practitioners, Apophys (ah/po/fihs), which feature within its ranks members of God Dethroned, Prostitute Disfigurement, Detonation and Toxocara, was readying to release a debut full-length, Prime Incursion, in the spring of 2015 through Metal Blade Records. The band was formed in 2012 and issued a demo in 2013. The band dissolved in tandem with the release of Devoratis. Dave Meester was on the second and final album. Sid Van Kastel (After Taste) was the final drummer.

Kevin Quilligan transformed himself into a vocal coach and was giving lessons. He was also a "director" at the Metal Factory. He was booked for tutorials at the Mediterranea Metal Cruise in 2025 alongside Serious Black, Dream Evil, Japanese screaming band Broken By The Scream and others.
