History & Biography A showcase for the talents of Archangel, the band evolved gradually from a project of the main man into a full-time band in 1994. The man had used a solo demo called Daemon to obtain a deal with Lucretia Records. The act released The Tao Single in 1996. Early bassist Lorenzo Dehò was the founder of Lucretia Records. The man received an offer to tour Japan in support of the debut, but without a real and full line-up had to decline. Cue new members being recruited. Wewo and Blackie were the first new members.
There were several singles and EPs and the band emphasized industrial, orchestral and pompous arrangements. Natural Born Messiah was a 1998 EP. Incarnate... saw the band adopt some more commercial influences and mentions of industrial and groove appeared in reviews. Crash & Burn advertised The Story Of My Immor(t)al Life as, "will feature Archangel to be the first the metal band in the world using a tuning enterely based on the 432 hertz tuning."
