History & Biography
The black metal band was formed in 1996 as Argus by Fulmineos (vocals, drums, keyboard) and Erebus (guitars) and existed using this monicker until 2005. The band changed its name and issued an album called Solitar În straniu through Banatian Darkness. The same year brought a band compilation called Închinăciune întunericului. Argus Megere was working on a studio album in 2016. The new material would be entitled VEII and was scheduled to be released through Loud Rage Music by the end of this year followed shortly after by a tour celebrating the band’s twenty years of activity. Loud Rage Music releases were typically delayed and this was issued in 2017.

The band reappeared with an album called Cerburea Apusului in 2025.

It is not clear how serious the band members are given how each member is active in half a dozen other acts.
