History & Biography The band was founded in 2009 after existing two years as Hatred Within and issued its And Death Shall Reign... in 2010. Another one called To The Grounds Of Everwhite followed in the year of someone’s lord 2013. Thuringian, Germany-based death metal band Asphodelos signed with Black Sunset/MDD of Germany in late 2017 and release an album that autumn. Rico Janz left in 2018. Angrist of Nornír replaced him. The band announced a new gig - the first in two years - in 2021 and stated that there would be new music.
The band members specialize in botany and nutrition for the deceased and spend a lot of time at McDonalds and Burger King obviously.
