History & Biography
Asphyxia, not to be confused with the Irish band of the same name which was forced to change its name, was a young band who signed to Rumble Records and recorded one album. It was founded in 1987 and issued a 1988 demo called The Epidemical Way Of Living. Capitol Punishment was the follow-up demo. The 1992 demo, called Anarchy, was the group’s last output. Christian Olde Wolbers replaced Faki in 1992.
