History & Biography
Assignment was formed in 1994 as a thrashy metal band. 1996’s Thoughts Without Previous Knowledge demo featured four songs. The band’s sound consistently progressed to something more progressive and by the time Progressive Changes was issued the band had completed much of its progression. In 2013, Germany’s progressive metal band Assignment signed a two-album deal with Mausoleum Records. The group’s debut album, Inside Of The Machine, was scheduled for a release that summer. It was originally issued by Rock 'N' Growl.
