History & Biography The New York-based band was founded in 1980 by guitarist John DeLeon and split up upon release of its album. It had several demos, Demo I, Metal Wars, Strike To Kill, prior to its record. The band appeared on the New Renaissance Records 1985 compilation album Speed Metal Hell and Mausoleum Records’ Metal Over America. The band had two future members from Hittman in its ranks. It won a ‘battle of the bands’ for the newly formed Shattered Records. Attila was described as a cross between Anthrax and UK bash metal bands. Rods’ drummer Carl Canedy produced Rolling Thunder.
Heaven And Hell Records was reissuing the band’s Rolling Thunder in 2017.
