History & Biography
The band came together courtesy of Adrien G. Gzagg in 2018. Three members had been in Eyezery since 2016 or 2018. Avaland had a “metal opera” album called Theater Of Sorcery through Rockshots. Guests include Madie of Nightmare and Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear. The band had a video for Never Let Me Walk Alone. Kanji became the co-vocalist in 2021.

Avaland returned in 2023 with its sophomore full-length The Legend Of The Storyteller, which was out through Rockshots Records on 31.03.2023. The album’s storyline took place in the universe of Avaland again, but prior to the act’s debut album Theater Of Sorcery. Guests included Zak Stevens (ex-Savatage/TSO), Madie (ex-Nightmare/Faith In Agony). The band was opening for Rhapsody Of Fire and Sortilège on a tour of Europe that spring. The 2025 independent release The Legend Comes Alive was recorded live in France in 2024. The band uploaded a song called Sail On in 2026. Jeff kanji was providing backing vocals for Sabaton. Chemical Poetry was available on October 30th 2026.
