History & Biography
Heavy metal band Axe Attack, or Guitar Pete's Axe Attack, was the child of Guitar Pete who having picked up the guitar at high school had quickly mastered the instrument. A demo had appeared in 1984. After three albums under the Guitar Pete's Axe Attack monicker, Brasino landed a deal with Giant Records in 1994 for his Snakeyed Sue. Back on an independent label, he was next heard on his solo record entitled Burning Bridges.
>br /> Brasino had played for Tears For Fears, David Bowie and performed steadily on MTV. Over the years, collaborators included singers John Pisciotta and Tommy Lynn, bassist Chris Ward and drummer John Sherry.
