History & Biography
The band's album was a black metal epic narrating the love story of a witch and a blacksmith. The debut full-length featured session drummer Matthias Holmgren (Naglfar, Nocturnal Rites, etc.), but Azure was essentially a one-man band. Vigor Deconstruct reissued the debut album on vinyl more than 20 years later. Azure released several demos and a MCD (A Vicious Age Lasting - 1998). A promo MCD entitled Shadows In Midark appeared in 2000.

Band leader Kanto edited Serenity Magazine and did artwork for other groups. The band signed a deal with Pulverised Records for Europe, Asia and Australia and with Deathgasm Records for America and issued King Of Stars - Bearer Of Dark. The title was also a 2004 demo. Mattias Holmgren had officially joined here.
