History & Biography
New York, USA-based Banchee was an early hard rock band which incorporated many hippy and psychedelic elements. Three members had come from the pop band The Peepl, which contributed Jerry Nolan to The New York Dolls. One source believes the band was founded as The Country Cousins. The band migrated to Boston at an early stage. Thinkin' was recorded at Electric Lady Studio. The second album added percussionist Roman, which expanded the line-up to a quintet. Roman and De Jesus are cousins.

Alongi passed away in the mid-'90s. His son is a proficient guitarist. DeJesus died in 2021.
