History & Biography
Banished From Inferno was ejected in 2003 as Berenice Bleeding and only changed its name in 2007. The band featured Swedish and Spanish friends into death metal. The group signed with John McEntee’s Ibex Moon Records and issued a self-titled EP in 2008. A full-length was to follow. It was mastered by Dan Swanö (who like Johansson has a pedigree in Edge Of Sanity and Demiurg) in 2007. It was recorded in 2007 at Treboada Studio and Mantis Studios in Spain. Balc had joined in 2010. Minotaur was initially named Purgatorial Raw Sewage. It appeared on Metal Inquisition Records, an affiliate of NSBM company called No Colours Records. The band in its own words had broken up with Ibex Moon. Julkarn joined in 2010. That was it for the band. The members joined their former singer and were in various bands in various months.

BANISHED FROM INFERNO - Same - IBEX MOON  
Banished From Inferno is yet another project which features Rogga of way too many bands to mention. The group has a debut EP, which a few quirks aside, is full-on death metal with lots for the listener to chew on. The disc begins with a useless intro that fades away into silence before the album proper begins with a mayhemic punk riff. The music is primitive distortion with a mix of Celtic Frost and early Tiamat. The vocals are deep and harrowing with little in the way of leniency. A few interludes affect a change, but Rogga growls death metal to death as the music moves back and forth on the speedometer. Banished From Inferno is so not because it is weak, wussy or white metal; because songs like Storm Apokalypse have nothing to learn in hell. Everything is already in place. - Ali “The Metallian”
