History & Biography
The group was founded in 2009 with a love for the name Barbarian in its heart. The 2010 demo was called Barbarian. The 2011 EP was called Barbarian. The other 2011 EP was called Barbarian. The artwork was by Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński. The band's singer and guitarist is half Polish. Borys ran something called Agipunk Records. The co-founder was drummer Lore. The co-founders were after an old-school sound.

With that out of its system, the band had an album called Faith Extinguisher in 2014. The act was booked at Florence Black Mass in 2015. The band toured the USA in 2017. To No God Shall I Kneel was confusing. The album title seemed rebellious, nonreligious and independent, but a song was entitled The Old Worship Of Pain. Blackstuff was back here. A tour with Bunker 66 was cancelled due to the pandemic. The band appeared on a Celtic Frost Tribute CD and later included the track, A Kiss Or A Whisper, on a 2024 single. The single's cover mimicked that of Celtic Frost's 1990 album, Vanity/Nemesis.

Dying Victims Productions signed Italy-based speed metal act Barbarian in 2025. An album was expected in 2026. The sixth LP was called Reek Of God. Dying Victims Productions was releasing it on 23.01.2026.
