History & Biography Illinois-based Transcending Records had multiple records in the works for 2016. One of these was Becoming Akh‘s Abolisher, which was described as Egyptian themed death metal/deathcore. The band was founded in February of 2012 and comprised of Portland, Oregon-based Chris Wittren on vocals, guitars, drums and programming. The solo act had issued a self-titled demo and a recording called Ascension. There was also a full-length called Sumerian Prophecy is late 2014. The Apophis Solution was a 2019 demo. The man's Spin Cycle Productions issued a demo called After Life in 2024.
Akh was a conceptual notion of the dead in Ancient Egypt.
