History & Biography
Illinois-based Transcending Records has multiple records in the works for 2016. One of these was Becoming Akh‘s Abolisher, which was described as Egyptian themed death metal. The band was founded in February of 2012 and comprised of Portland Oregon-based Chris Wittren on vocals, guitars, drums and programming. The solo act had issued a self-titled demo and a recording called Ascension. There was also a full-length called Sumerian Prophecy is late 2014.

Akh was a conceptual notion of the dead in Ancient Egypt.
