History & Biography
This Köln-based black metal act came together in 2002. Beltane was a 2002 demo. It was re-issued by Ewige Eis Records two years later. Another 2002 demo was called Fliehende Stürme. Still in the same year was Schlachtherr. Live In Much came in 2004. The band went away, but reappeared with an album called Tod: Part 1 (‘death: Part 1’) in 2013. Avantgarde Music was issuing Beltez’s A Grey Chill And A Whisper album in late 2020.

Drummer Dominik (Damage Source) joined in 2021. The band cancelled an appearance at Pest Fest VI in 2022, but appeared at Sixth Circle Fest with a new drummer called Max in tow. Dominik had cited family illness as a reason for departure, which had led to spring concert cancellations. Sixth Circle Fest in Troisdorf, Germany in November 2023 featured bands like Hemelbestormer, Fyrnask, Beltez and Cataya. Crawling Chaos Records was a sponsor.
