History & Biography Necrosis was a band in the mid-1990s before rebranding itself Exhumation in 1996. The name changed again to Benevolence, which was more in line with the edicts of a Christian band, but the band dissolved in 2012. Before disbanding the act had played with bands like aggro band Temple Statik. Christian bands also obey the rules and so Benevolence reformed in 2018. Drummer Corley was the act's mainstay after a dozen members had come and gone.
The band issued a compilation demo called Human Disposal Machine in 2019. A digital single was called Apotheosis in 2020. USA-based white metal act Benevolence had a single called Face Of A Liar through Rottweiler Records in 2026. The band was seeking a rhythm guitarist and issuing a full-length. Originally recorded in 2022 by Chris Corley, alongside a several Dallas studio musicians Chris Johnson (Hard Look), Nakoa Arnold (Hunt The Dinosaur, Funeral Procession and Thy Flesh Abhorred) and Charles Benson (Conquered Flesh, Benson and Exalt The Throne), the album was to be issued also in 2026. Exalt The Throne became Persecution Complex and featured drummer Corley.
