The band was founded by guitarist Adib Flores (ex-DNB) in 2017. Vocalist and Manager Azog and drummer Javier Aceves (Salo) soon joined and a first single, entitled Exile, was issued in 2018 . Lethal Scissor Records signed the Mexico-based black/death metal band Betrayme in April 2021. The debut EP Níhil Óbstat was due in the summer. The act had an album called Nihil Obstat through Lethal Scissors in October.
