History & Biography

The Adelaide-based band was formed in 1992 as Suffering. The band issued music and opened for several bigger bands before changing monickers in 1995. The band continued with the new name for four years. Two members joined Oni. Old habits die hard however; and, the group returned in 2003. Following a Promo 2004 and a demo called The Demon And The Tree Of The Dead the band issued the From Hell full-length demo in 2008. Australian death metal band, Beyond Mortal Dreams, would release a new 7" EP in the autumn of 2013. The record would include a new track Lamia and a re-recording of Demonsword Infernal, a song from the band's 2006 Demo. The EP would be released on transparent red wax as a collaboration between Lavadome and Unholy Prophecies Records. The act re-released the From Hell demo through Nuclear Winter Records in 2021. Originally released in 2008, the album would see revamped artwork and be available on May 17th.

A full-length album called Abomination Of The Flames was released in April 2022. It had been worked on for several years. The band was recording a new album in 2023 and 2024.
