History & Biography Solo act Bilwis by Bilwais the man was founded in 2020. The Sagenwelt demo of 2020 was promptly pressed by a demo represser in 2021. Northern Silence Productions released the 2022 album Pan. The song Der Mond Am Himmel (‘The Moon In The Sky’) featured Bilwis’ girlfriend Melina. The album was recorded at the man’s home studio. Germany-based solo metal act Bilwis had an album called Hameln through Northern Silence Productions in early 2024. The album was described as, “return to the debut EP in terms of songwriting, but with an improved sound.” Hameln was the pied piper’s setting. The group's label had billed Northern Silence III festival in Germany for 2025, but the show was cancelled. Other acts that were billed before cancellation were Eminenz, Pestilential Shadows, Ruadh and Aquilus.
The concept of Bilwis is of old European fairy tales and myths.
