History & Biography
Blessed Sickness was based out of Ohio beginning in 1991 and was one of the underground black/death metal bands that despite a good writing ability and lots of self-promotion didn't make it. The original incarnation featured the Morrow twin brothers. A self-titled 1992 demo was on the band's own imprint, Sick Productions. The band had a self-titled 7" in 1992. The group disbanded in 1993, came back two years later, dissolved in 1999 and came back again in 2007 for four years. This meant that the band was split up upon release of its sole album, which also did not feature the Morrow brothers. The new releases and incarnations were all basically Vince and new members. Live After Jonestown was a 2008 demo. Depraved was a 2010 demo.

The band's monicker was inspired by the 1991 Morbid Angel album, Blessed Are the Sick. The group had appeared at Michigan Deathfest 3 before its first disbandment. The reformed act played at Michigan Deathfest 10.
