History & Biography At some point, there were so many bands on the scene that names became as scarce as humanity or intelligence in a Nazi field office. To avoid duplicated names, metal bands began adding the suffix "A.D." to their names to distinguish themselves from their namesakes. One of the first of these was Bremen, It coincidentally, or not, becaame B.A.D. Germany-based Bloodfeast A.D. The band recorded and released its sole record in 1987. It was a temporary solution indeed because that was it for the band. The crossover outfit reemerged as Foolproof in 1990 and lasted another five years.
