History & Biography
Blood Mortized is a death metal band from the capital city of Stockholm, Sweden that was formed in 2007 by several scene veterans. Mattias Parkkila of Excruciate was on vocals. A record appeared in 2009. The Bestial EP of 2010 was issued by Nocturnal Blood on cassette. Moberg took his leave. Guitarist Gustav Myrin of Patholog also joined. The band was in the studio recording a new album, The Key To A Black Heart, in 2011 at Borgh’s own studio. The band also had a new bass player called Mattias Söderlund who played bass with Swedish punk band Charta 77. Chaos Records would release the LP and cassette versions of The Key To A Black Heart, the 2012 album from the Swedish band in July. The CD version was out through FDA Rekotz. Mattias Borgh departed in 2012. The Demon, The Angel, The Disease was the 2013 record. It was supported through a video for the song Bastard. Mattias Parkkila left this time. The band hired singer Ludvig Engellau (Talion) and drummer Per Ekegren (later also in Gods Forsaken), but threw in the towel officially in 2016.
