History & Biography Bodybox is a Florida, USA-based death metal band that was announced through 2021’s Through The Bongfire demo. The Microwaved Weed single followed in the same year.
The band first toured with Vatican, Boundaries and Spite and then with The Acacia Strain in 2022. The group also announced a tour with I Am. The band opened for Soulfly in the USA in 2023 and promised a full-length. The inked boys promoted and used drugs at every turn. Bassist Dave Moore and drummer Brian Glaab departed. Bassist Ryan Thorn and drummer Payo arrived. Crowbar was touring the USA in September. Primitive Man and Bodybox were opening select concerts. 2023 ended opening for Eyehategod and then Suicidal Tendencies. The band cancelled several gigs as a friend had died and they wanted to instead set up a memorial show, which included tattoos. Go Ahead And Die tour began 2024. Half Heard Voices came along for the ride. There were gigs with Mutilation Barbecue. The main news was that there were even newer members comprising the act. Harry Brown had three new musicians now part of the line-up. Josh Gomez was on guitar, Justin d'Augereau was on bass and Malik Dugan drummed. The band was added to the line-up of Armstrong MetalFest.
