History & Biography
The act with the puzzling name came together in 2008. The style was shredding neoclassical pomp rock. Guitarist Bogusław Balcerak had a background in the thrash metal band Alioth/Holocaust. He saw Yngwie Malmsteen play in 1989 and was influenced. Blood Of The Prophets was released through Lion Music, The second one was issued through a fledgling German upstart. It took almost a decade for a follow-up to appear. The line-up unsurprisingly was inconsistent. The man was part of a project called Tyc, Balcerak, which issued a hard rock album in 2017. The next release of Crylord came quickly after its 2022 predecessor, albeit 2023's Ashes II Ashes was a demo.

Poland-based neoclassical band Boguslaw Balcerak’s Crylord had an album called Lost Bloody Heroes through Rock Company in 2025. The band had finally stayed with the same label for a second release. Göran Edman was on guest vocals here. He had contributed vocals to the act in the past. It goes without saying that other vocalists who had guested over the years were the standard standbys, and Malmsteen alumni, Mark Boals and Tim “Ripper” Owens. Drummer Jeremiasz Baum was on the more recent two records.
