History & Biography Formed in 2005 an hour north of Toronto with a female opera singer Borealis issued a demo called eyes of A Dream the year after. Another demo, called World Of Silence, followed in 2008. The CD’s cover artwork was true to the band and album’s name. Canadian progressive metal band Borealis will have its label debut Fall From Grace released on Lion Music on 20th May 2011. This album featured a new guitarist, Ken Fobert. He would leave shortly before release of the album. Hydrant Music issued it in Japan. The band was on the Intromental management roster. The gang opened for Symphony X in Toronto. Borealis was confirmed as the support band for the 2011 Saxon North American tour in October.
The band signed with a FM records, which meant a lower profile than before the group. World Of Silence MMXVII was the obligatory self-cover version record and issued obviously in 2017. Place Of Darkness was a 2019 compilation. 2022's Illusions was supported through a video for the song Pray for Water. Aiden Watkinson became the bassist next. The band was booked for Vancouver, Canada’s Hyperspace Metalfest, which was to take place between April 11 and 13th, 2024.
