History & Biography While this act was formed in 1992 and issued a self-titled demo in 1993. Military service inserted a quick pause into the band activities. A demo called Second Calling was released in 1997 and, as a result, the band travelled in late 1998 to Denmark to record its album. The band was good, albeit very close to Queensryche in sound.
George Baharidis had played guitar in Deceptor.
Reviews BREAKING SILENCE - IMPACT - SERIOUS
Formed by members of local Seattle bands Myth and The Mob, Breaking Silence is now releasing this its first full-length CD. The band had previously one MCD to its name by the name of Queen Of The Reich, which was released by local record store/label 206 Records. However, it is this full-length that truly showcases the band's penchant for crunching, melodic dual guitars as well as searing, high-pitched vocals by frontman Geoff Tate. Fans of melodic metal should truly get hold of this newcomer band. Note the band's plan to release a concept album in the future (possibly on EMI). - Ali "The Metallian"
