History & Biography Bath, UK's Bronz were one of the original wimp metallers dubbing their
music 'soft metal' as early as 1984. The group's Genesis dated back to 1976. Yet again, all the commercial
maneuvering fails and this band bites the dust early. Max Bacon moved
to the USA and was replaced by Steve Hackett for a while. Webb was replaced by Charlie McCracken of Fastway. The band opened for Hawkwind.
The band reformed at the turn of the century. Unfinished Business was a 2001 demo. A couple of cover versions and samplers later, Sanctuary Music issued an unreleased live album of the band's older material in the spring of 2003. The band was Chris Goulstone, bassist Simon Thomas and drummer Windsor McGilvray. Carried By The Storm was released in 2010. Carried By The Storm was originally recorded in 1985, but shelved. Guitarist Shaun Kirkpatrick died in 2013 and the act disbanded.
