History & Biography A death metal band based in Venezuela to start, Burial Ruthless was founded in January of 2015 as a continuation of the band Morbidsign, which itself was founded in 2008. Drummer Carlos Marín was part of the band, but would die. The drummer has been a band co-founder along with Víctor Figueroa. The band broke up in October of 2015. Víctor Figueroa moved himself, and subsequently the band, to Spain in November of 2015. The very death metal sounding demo, Human's Death Pathology, was released in 2019. It was supported through a lyric video for the song Hijos De La Esfera Brutal. The band was singer and guitarist Víctor Figueroa, guitarist Ricardo Chance, bassist Anderson Jiménez and drummer Jesper Boenigk. There were concerts in France and Portugal in 2021. The group uploaded a song called National Autopsy in December of 2024. National Autopsy was inspired by the 2010 exhumation of Simón Bolívar who was a national hero of Venezuelan independence..
Burial Ruthless had an album called Held by Evil through Great Dane Records. The band described it as having connections to Venezuela, Ecuador and Spain. There was a video for the song Demons Within and another for Southern Death. The song La Caída Del Aborrecido concerned José Tomás Boves, a brutal historical character who fought against Venezuelan independence. The band name had not changed, but three-quarters of the act were on their first Burial Ruthless recording. The band was based in Barcelona, Spain and was touring Spain that autumn.
