History
This Switzerland-based band was formed in 2015 and had a demo in 2016. The self-titled debut full-length by Swiss all-girl band Burning Witches was out in the spring. The CD was recorded at the Little Creek Studio in Switzerland with producers V.O. Pulver and Schmier (Destruction). The gals released a second album Hexenhammer through Nuclear Blast Records on November 9th. The album was produced at the Little Creek Studio in Switzerland again by V.O. Pulver and Schmier of Destruction. Sonia Nusselder had joined the band. Burning Witches lost vocalist Seraina Telli. The band recruited Laura Guldemond, singer for the Netherlands-based band Shadowrise, as its new lead singer. Burning Witches released a full-length album, entitled The Witch Of The North, through Nuclear Blast Records on 28.05.2021. Seraina Telli released a single from her Dead Venus project. The song Flowers & Pain showcased a mallcore/rock sound. The Iron Maidens, an Iron Maiden cover band, and Switzerland-based Burning Witches announced a tour of the U.S.A. for May 2022.
