History & Biography
The band was founded by Dimitra Vintsou and Nikos Palivos in April 2012 and obtained its newer monicker in July 2013. The first album was 2015’s Beneath Abyss. Nikos Palivos focused on (second) vocals from here instead of vocals and bass. There was a video for the title track. The album featured several session drummers including drum taxi Nick Yngve. The second album of the goth/metal act was on SPV. The 2019 trek Vulture Industries: European Tour included the band, as well as Vulture Industries, Helheim and Madder Mortem.

Greece-based Caelestia signed with Wormholedeath for the CD release of its Infernalia EP in 2024. The line-up featured former Destruction man Marc Reign. The word ‘Infernalia’ is an antonym of Caelestia. Greece-based goth and growl act Caelestia had a video for the song Jutland, a retelling of the largest naval duel of World War I, in 2025. Caelestia released a cover version of Morgoth's Isolated on June 27, 2025. Marc Reign was a former member of Morgoth. The group was working on a new album.
