History & Biography
While the band was formed in 1986 under other fleeting monickers, it was only 1991 that the band released a demo called Memento Mori. A demo called Domination and more live work followed. The band opened for Death at a concert. Close Up magazine and MNW feature the death and thrash metal band on the Extreme Close-Up sampler. Singer and guitarist Jacob Nordangård left in 1994. Euro Records had little financing and the band went through several members before releasing an independent MCD called Refuse To Die in 1995. This in contrast to the debut's title. Diehard signed the band upon hearing a track from Drowned. The band was mostly compared to Meshuggah. Alien Six was a mallcore album with Korn influences. Hammer Muzik was a Turkish label.

The monicker was inspired by the Slayer song Captor Of Sin from the Haunting The Chapel EP.
