History & Biography
Carcariass was formed in 1991 in Besançon. Carcharodon Carcharias is the Latin name for the great white.

A demo tape called Ancestral War was recorded in 1994, which lead to support shows with Italy's Sadist. The trio of Raphael, Pascal and Bertrand became the line-up for the band beginning in 1996. An independent CD called Hell On Earth was to be immortalized in 1997. The Frenchmen played more shows before signing to a Swiss label called Impact. Sidereal Torment was recorded in Belgium.

For Killing Process the band turned to the domestic Adipocere label. Thomas joined in 2019.
